Just wanted to tell you how beautiful everything looked and how delicious the food was for HMH's opening today. I understand you will be the chef for the Cafe. Great to know! Please have your blintzes on the menu. They were terrific; my mother was looking down from heaven with approval. And they were just the right size. Your egg salad was first rate as well. It would be wonderful to have a menu that reflects Jewish cuisine (though we know that varies widely). But those blintzes are a must! |

Vladimir is passionate about his work and his service. He is anxious to establish himself as a top chef in Houston. He listens to your ideas and has many suggestions. He won't let you do the wrong thing. He is respectful, his uniform is clean and crisp, and his staff are professional. He can follow your grandmother's recipe or introduce his own. He remembers how you like things prepared, what you like to drink, and who can't eat certain foods. He will stay behind the scenes if you want or let the guests watch as he creates the dinner. He will not leave until he knows you are satisfied. I find it impossible to have a dinner party without him!

Chef Smirnov did a wonderful job catering a Bar Mitzvah luncheon for 225 guests. The food was fantastic and the staff was punctual, friendly and very professional!! I highly recommend Chef Smirnov Catering for your catering needs.

After my daughter's Bat Mitzvah, I knew that the only caterer I would use for my son's Bar Mitzvah would be Chef Smirnov. Not only is the food unbelievably delicious, the professionalism and helpfulness of Vladimir and his staff went above and beyond expectations. The delicious food that was prepared for my son's Shabbat dinner, Bar Mitzvah luncheon as well as the Bar Mitzvah party were presented beautifully. His fruit carvings and ice sculptures are beautiful pieces of art! I also used Ksenyia Smirnov for my flower arrangements.

The Chef and Staff arrived well before our event. They all understood their responsibilities and provided excellent service and delicious food in a most professional manner. When the last guest left, the kitchen and service area were cleaned and even the trash was taken out!

When I sent Chef Smirnov an email to let him know I would be needing his services again, he called me just minutes later to congratulate me on our marriage! I told my husband- that this was precisely why we HAD to use Chef Smirnov - his food is excellent and he is professional and so easy to work with! When I met with Chef Smirnov, he made me feel completely at ease. His company offers full services, he could take care of the linens, flatware, china, flowers, and anything else I would possibly need. What I really liked about him was that he focused on offering me a wide range of options while being considerate of budget concerns. I am still receiving phone calls and emails about how wonderful the food was! In addition to the food being PERFECT. Chef Smirnov's staff is amazing!

My husband and I are very pleased with our experience with Chef Smirnov. The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. Chef Vladi helped me plan the menu and on the evening of the event, he and his assistant, Myra, took charge so that my husband and I could enjoy our guests. Had eight people at my home for the first Passover since my wife passed away and had it catered to relieve pressure on rest of family. Menu selection offered great variety and the quantity of food provided was more than sufficient. I found the cost to be most reasonable.
